Darknet Forums: Dread, Pitch & Community Hubs (2026)

Decentralized forums serve as the vital communication backbone of the dark web, providing platforms for vendor accountability, scam warnings, and security disclosures.

Dread: The Reddit of the Darknet

Created by HugBunter and Paris in 2018 following Reddit's prohibition of darknet market discussion, Dread is the most influential forum on Tor. Sub-dreads host official marketplace support representatives, vendor review threads, and harm reduction advisories.

Pitch: The Alternative Discussion Platform

Pitch emerged as an imageboard and discussion space emphasizing lightweight UI design and high resilience against volumetric denial-of-service attacks.
